ABOUT THE ROLE
The Construction and Building Services team deliver education and training to a range of learners wishing to develop knowledge, understanding and transferable skills relating to the Construction industry. As Programme Area Leader of a team, you will lead and oversee curriculum planning and activity for the related programmes to include a variety of additional short courses to ensure innovative, quality provision.
You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager and the Head of School to plan, monitor, manage and evaluate the offer. The ideal candidate will have industry experience, relevant teaching/training qualification and experience, together with experience of leading and supporting colleagues. You will be a highly self motivated, energetic and driven individual, encompassing a strong sense of autonomy. You will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement of targets. You will be a role model for college learners and will work to the classroom professional standards.
This post carries a commitment of 736 delivery hours.

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Nottinghamshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 1,200 full and part-time students attending every year. The college has six sites based in Ashfield and Mansfield.
Vision West Nottinghamshire College was established as a Technical College in 1928. It was renamed Vision West Nottinghamshire College in 2011. Facilities across the campuses include an engineering innovation centre, art and design centre, sports hall, a hair and beauty training salon and a training restaurant for catering and hospitality students to train in.
