Seeking Reading Coach/English language school certified teacher who is highly qualified. Work with a grade 6 student to meet core curriculum standards. The goal is to provide enrichment and to supply instructional practices and materials which have been shown to be valid and reliable and research-based.
 

Start Date: Immediately.
 

Hours Needed: Part time, online – 6 hours a week approximately.
 

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide before      or after school hours, Saturdays, and/ or early evening sessions.
  • Provide grade      specific reading specialist sessions 
  • Include a      component to teach organizational skills for the student to apply in every      aspect of their education.
  • Provide fun and      motivating lesson plans.
  • Promote critical      thinking skills through the use of research-based instructional practices      and strategies.
  • Incorporate      inquiry-based research skills 

Qualifications: Masters in English, B.Ed. or equivalent is desirable but not compulsory.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of teaching/relevant experience is a pre-requisite for this position.

Candidate should have a teaching experience in CIE curriculum for a minimum of 5 years and should have attended at least one CIE English workshop. 

Salary: Negotiable

Neerja Modi School is a mixed gender, non-sectarian, mainstream, all-through, independent day school located in Jaipur, Republic of India. It is open to students seeking schooling from kindergarted through to grade 12. The school, which was founded in April 2001, serves 2550 students and has a teaching staff of 300.
