St Mary’s War Memorial School aims to develop a faith filled Catholic learning community of hope, joy, wonder and peace where all are welcome and inspire to grow to their potential. We are looking for teachers who would be exemplary in leading, supporting and promoting a culture and atmosphere of Catholic values and faith development.

We are seeking to appoint an Religious Education Coordinator for 2019. The position carries a non-teaching Coordinator allocation of 0.2 FTE. The remainder of the position includes classroom teaching in a class from Kindergarten to Year 6. To be successful in this position you will have excellent communication skills, be a team player with the ability to develop appropriate relationships with students, staff and parents. You will be innovative and willing to challenge young minds towards academic excellence. You will have a sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.

It is important that the document includes examples that give evidence of each of the capabilities of the applicant’s leadership experience.
