We are seeking to appoint a talented, experienced individual to be the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. You will lead on Child Protection, Safeguarding and Attendance and manage an established, effective pastoral team.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of child safeguarding. You may be a qualified social worker, teacher or a professional working within children’s services.
You will need:
· At least a Safeguarding Level Three qualification
· Experience of working with multiagency services
· Experience of working in the field of Child Protection and Safeguarding in a school setting
· Comprehensive understanding of the latest statutory requirements in keeping pupils safe in education
· Experience of line managing
· Excellent communication skills
· Be personable, professional and maintain confidentiality
