Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding School Nurse, from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm for 1 or 1.5 days per week term time only plus inset days, with the required knowledge, skills, experience and personal qualities.
Ideally the applicant will be a Registered Nurse (RGN), have experience in paediatrics or working with children, experience of sports injury care and treatment, have a First Aid at Work/First Aid Instructor Certificate and experience of working in an educational/institutional environment.
The successful applicant should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, clear empathy and understanding of pupils’ development and needs, and a flexible approach to working hours.
