Sharples School Multi-Academy is an 11-16 mixed Academy with 951 pupils on roll, situated in the North of Bolton in pleasant surroundings. The school provides stimulating and innovative opportunities for learning, transforming the aspirations and educational outcomes for all students and the local community. Sharples was judged ‘Good’ at its last inspection in 2013, with areas of outstanding practice. 

Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and well-qualified science technician to provide support to teaching staff within the science department and to contribute positively to the effectiveness of pupil learning. The post will specifically support all aspects of the science department action plan. Please refer to the job description and person specification for a more detailed outline of duties.
