We are seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic second in ICT. You will also be the subject leader for Media and Film. The post is open from January 2019.

Wheelers Lane Technology College is a mainstream, non-denominational secondary school for boys aged 11-16. It is situated in Kings Heath, Birmingham, and it has 682 pupils on its roll. It was rated “outstanding” after its 2014 Ofsted inspection.

“Boys attain higher standards than all students nationally. The progress they make put the school in the top 3% of schools nationally in 2013. In 2014, an even stronger picture is evident. Students eligible for additional funding achieve higher standards and make better progress than all students nationally; the lower attainment apparent in most schools for such students has been eliminated at Wheelers Lane.”
