Smart Teachers is recruiting for multiple SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TA to join a small but ever growing Special Educational Needs school in South West London. The SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TA positions are full time to start ASAP. The roles will be contracted through to July 2019 as a minimum, with potential to continue on into the next academic year. The SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TA will be supporting SEN children throughout KS1, KS2 and up to sixth form. The school have an age range of 3-19 year olds with mixed genders and abilities. The needs of the children is a mixture of mild to complex and severe needs. The school currently have just under 90 students at present with the majority of the students requiring 1:1 support. 

About the Role

• SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TA

• Full time

• ASAP Start 

• 1:1 and group work in small classes of around 7/8 students

• Assisting KS1 up to sixth form (dependent on experience)

• Daily rate from £70 per day (dependent on experience) 

• Onsite training provided where needed

• Fixed Term Contract until July 2019 with possibility to extend in the new academic year

In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TA will need to meet the following criteria:

• Relevant experience working with Special Educational Needs

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
