Tor View School are recruiting for an Administrator to join a busy and professional administration team. We are looking for enthusiastic multitasker, who is highly skilled and proficient in the use of Microsoft office, excel & word. The successful candidate who be a solution focused member of the team and be able to prioritise competing deadlines in a professional manner.

Aspris Children's Services, Devon & Cornwall specialises in high quality residential and educational provisions for children between 7-18 who may have SEMH and /or Autism. The safeguarding and wellbeing of our young people who may have experienced challenges in their lives is always paramount; along with encouragement to achieve their full potential.

We currently have two educational settings, Quay View School and Tor View School, and four Children's Homes in Tavistock, Gunnislake and Okehampton.

Based at Tor View School, you would be responsible for;

Finance administration including raising purchase orders, processing invoices and petty cash

Auditor for the Single Central Record (SCR)

Site Authoriser for IT requests (e.g. new users)

Induction of new members of staff

Management of Policies & Procedures

Covering our School Reception when required

Attending meetings and taking notes as required

Please note: This role is predominately based at Tor View School but there may be occasions where you will be expected to work at Quay View School, to provide Admin support as required.

•   Confident working both independently and as part of a team

•   Good interpersonal skills and a good telephone manner are essential

As a diverse school, Tor View in Tavistock specialises in high quality day and residential educational provisions for children aged between 7-19 with autism and/or complex learning needs.
