Hampshire Collegiate School has a well-developed network and every classroom has an interactive screen with an internet connection, a large numbers of PCs, servers and a wide range of different software. Some members of the school community are allowed to bring their own mobile devices (phones, laptops and tablets) to school, which can be used on our wireless network.   

We have commenced rolling out iPads for staff and students. Therefore, a clear understanding of these systems would be beneficial.   

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented technician to assist the Systems Manager to maintain an efficient and effective network across the school.  MCP (or similar) qualification and experience in an IT department are essential.  

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing technical support to ICT systems including desktops, tablets and servers operating on both Windows and Mac OSX and iOS. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and installation of the School’s core network systems.  As we are currently investing in Apple products, a background in Apple MDM administration would be a clear advantage, as is a willingness to learn about Apple devices.    

This is a non-resident full time post. Annual holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays. Working hours are 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
