Description Our Lady of Victories Primary School, Shortland is seeking a qualified and experienced person to fill the position of Senior School Officer, Clerical. This position will require an enthusiastic, proactive person with proven experience in both finance and administration to support the Principal.
Position Requirements • Willingness to support the ethos of Catholic schools
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven knowledge and skills with accounting information systems and ability to demonstrate strong performance and quality of work
• Administration of school fee accounts including preparation, distribution, collection and debtor analysis
• General office administration duties
• Administration of accounts payable, account reconciliations and regulatory reporting
• Assisting with preparation of accounting reports
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including a pleasant telephone manner
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage several tasks concurrently
• Ability to work tolerant of an interrupted working environment
• Ability to foster and promote positive personal relationships with all stakeholders
• Contribute to the work team by accomplishing duties in a timely manner as required
Essential Criteria • Minimum Certificate III in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum two years experience in a similar position
• Your current Working With Children number must be recorded on your application
Desirable Criteria • minimum of two years relevant experience in finance / accounting
• experience with and or knowledge of COMPASS
• experience with and or knowledge of SCHOOLZINE.
