Pathways School, one of the top IB schools in India, requires a Spanish Teacher beginning in July 2019. The school is a 3 programme IB school, offering the PYP, MYP and DP programmes. The School is a Council of International Schools (CIS) member and is part way through the NEASC accreditation process. It is ranked in the top 10 international schools in the country.

Eligibility:

The school is seeking a qualified Teacher for MYP and DP Spanish.  At least a Bachelors degree in the subject with recognized teaching certification (eg. B.Ed., PGCE, etc.) and experience with Spanish B and ab initio. Applicants with IB experience is essential. Excellent subject knowledge.

Salary and Allowances:

  • The Employment Contract is for two years renewable on mutual consent.
  • The salary is paid in Indian Rupees.
  • Rent free furnished accommodation
  • Free tuition fee for upto two children in the school.
  • One-month salary as end of contract ex-gratia payment
  • Medical Insurance valid in India for INR 350,000 per annum for teacher
  • An annual economy class ticket for the teacher, plus ticket for spouse and two children at the beginning and end of the Contract.
  • A Settling Allowance and a One-time Baggage Allowance are paid.
  • Annual increment as per school policy.

About Pathways School Noida

Pathways World School, Noida is a mainstream, all-through, independent, international day school for children aged 3-18. It is situated in Noida in Dehli and has over 1000 pupils on its roll.

Pathways Noida is part of a group of international schools based in India.

The school was launched in 2010 and it was the first IB school in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Teaching at Pathways Noida

The role of the teacher at an IB school is believed to be that of a facilitator. Most of the teachers at Noida are appointed because they are Masters or PhD’s their subject area. They are hired based on previous experience both in India and abroad and new teachers are given mentors to train them in the IB methodology of teaching.
