The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the successful teaching and assessment of Level Three vocational Business and A Level Business. We require a candidate who is able to contribute to the finance units on the A level and vocational courses and is willing to teach other business units as required.  Business & Travel is one of the highest performing departments in the College.  Results are consistently above sixth form college averages both for raw outcomes and value added.  The Department is responsible for the successful delivery to 500+ students on programmes at Levels 1 – 3.  At Level 3, the team deliver A Level Business and A Level Economics; and BTEC vocational courses in both Business and Travel.  The team consists of 15 exceptional teachers who work collaboratively to ensure that students receive an enjoyable, challenging learning experience and realise their full potential.  Within the Department there is a strong ethos of team-work, all courses have a full range of resources available for you to use and a culture of mutual support and development permeates the College and the Department.  As a new member of staff you will be assigned a supportive mentor and you will participate in the College’s outstanding CPD programme.
