From September 2018, we are looking to appoint a teacher of Business Studies, to join a successful and vibrant department which delivers at Key Stage 4 and has a large uptake at Post 16.
We are looking for either an established outstanding teacher or someone who will qualify this Summer and has the potential to be outstanding. You must possess a track record of successful teaching experience or teaching practice, underpinned by a broad subject knowledge and teaching & learning strategies in Business Studies including Economics. In addition, we seek candidates with highly developed communication and organisational skills combined with the ability to engage, enthuse and motivate our students to achieve their potential. The successful candidate will be required to teach across both Key Stages.
The role is offered on a full time temporary contract for one year (or until the return of the postholder).

Guiseley School is an 11-18 fully inclusive school situated in a small town in the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is now a suburb of north west Leeds and close to the stunning Dales. The school is part of a Co-operative Trust established in 2014. The school works jointly with a number of local schools to promote the welfare and success of the children of Aireborough.
