Required from 1st September 2018 - 31st August 2019

Fixed Term contract

Full Time - MPS/UPS

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Economics and Business Studies to join our Church of England 11-18 comprehensive school, judged ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted in May 2017 and ‘Outstanding’ by SIAMS in February 2018.

Hutton is a regularly oversubscribed single sex boys school from 11-16 with 730 students currently on roll. The school is co-educational from 16-18 with 161 students currently on roll.

Both subjects are popular options at GCSE and A Level, with the department producing consistently outstanding results, particularly in Economics. We are looking for a colleague who can teach both subjects at Key Stage 4 and 5. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2019 in the first instance but there is a possibility of this being extended depending on timetabling requirements and sixth form recruitment.
