About us:

Didsbury High School is a new secondary free school for 11-18 students in South Manchester. In the 2018 Progress 8 Headline measure CHHS came in the top 2% of schools nationally and also ranked as the 15th non-denominational comprehensive school nationwide in the annual Times Parent Power Survey (2019). This standing was further underlined following another set of outstanding GSCE and A-level results. In 2018 66% of students achieved the gold standard of 9-5 in English and mathematics. The progress of our disadvantaged students was Progress 8 0.5, the historical national figure for this cohort is -0.41 and for other students it is 0.11. Our disadvantaged students make more progress than their non-disadvantaged peers nationally.

A training school for 14 years and a teaching school for a further six, CHHS is home to the Altius Alliance centre of excellence providing School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT),  judged Outstanding in 2017.

If you want to work in a highly ambitious and successful school, and have the passion and commitment to join us at an exciting time for learning and development as we expand and open new schools in the Trust, then we would like to hear from you.
