Situated in the beautiful and historic City of York, Millthorpe School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic teacher with a passion to enthuse students to enjoy PE and Dance and the ability to teach at all levels throughout the school.

The PE Department is a forward thinking and closely-knit team, which is committed to maintaining the high standards and profile that currently exist and build on its considerable strengths.

The Department is currently staffed by four full-time teachers, all of whom are subject specialists, and two part-time teachers.

Millthorpe is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

The closing date for applications is Monday 18 June 2018 at midnight.

Interviews are planned to be held during week commencing Monday 18 or Monday 25 June 2018.
