Inspire us! Challenge us! Let us solve the problems! Guide us!
At The Hayfield School we enjoy learning and we try really hard in lessons. We would like our Headteacher to appoint an excellent maths teacher who will inspire all students regardless of their ability. Our Maths department is a very committed group of people who work really well together to ensure that we have interactive lessons, using a variety of teaching methods. The ideal teacher will be lively, engaging, understanding and reliable to ensure that we get the best grades possible. We would like our lessons to be exciting but challenging and we want to learn from our mistakes. The right teacher will be patient and confident to assist us with our work. Life is sometimes tough as a teenager so we want to know that we can rely on you to be there when we need you. At The Hayfield School we love maths and there is a strong track record of students going on to study this at A Level and at university.
The school is situated in Auckley near Robin Hood Airport. It is a lovely part of Doncaster and really easy to get to and from. Our teachers come from as far away as North Leeds, Sheffield, Scunthorpe and Nottinghamshire. It really is worth the journey. We like living in this area because there is plenty to do and lots of open space.
If you are interested in applying please complete the application form on the TES website. You are very welcome to visit the school before you apply and find out if you think you would fit in.
Please contact our HR Manager, Paula Kynman, 01302 770579, pky@thehayfieldschool.co.uk.
We look forward to receiving your application.
Kind regards
The Year 9 Student Leadership Team

Ofsted report
“Students are clear about what they are expected to learn. In many lessons, students are challenged to think and give extended answers to questions asked. Inspectors saw examples of students developing their understanding.”
