King George V School is an international secondary school with approximately 1,800 students that teaches the IGCSE and IB curriculum in English.

Teacher of Mathematics (Starting Aug 2019)

Responsibilities

KGV is seeking an innovative, flexible and dynamic teacher who can make an outstanding contribution to our highly successful Mathematics department. We are looking for applicants who are able to teach across years 7-13. Experience of IGCSE, the IB MYP and Diploma an advantage. The opportunity to teach IB HL and Further Maths is available for teachers with the relevant experience.

The position will be a two years contract starting August 2019

Candidates should have the ability to deliver concept-based lessons to support our school priority of creating a coherent Middle Years Programme whereby students recognise the links between subjects. You will need to be collaborative, forward thinking and willing to contribute to new initiatives and developments within the department and across the school.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Education, or
Bachelor Degree in any subjects with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), or equivalent

1-3 years teaching experience within a recognised educational organisation is preferred
