The Stamford Endowed Schools (SES), are seeking to appoint a well- qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join the successful Mathematics Department at Stamford School.
This post would be suitable for either an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher seeking to develop their career.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach Mathematics to students from Year 7 up to and including A-level Mathematics. The opportunity to teach A-level Further Mathematics is available for a suitably qualified candidate.
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will also become involved in our departmental activities outside the classroom; these include our lunchtime Maths Club, Problem Solving Club, Bridge Club and after school support sessions for sixth form students.
A willingness to offer support to other aspects of the extra-curricular life of the school is expected, to which teachers contribute according to their areas of personal interest and experience.

The Schools have been established in Stamford since 1532, providing a first class education for children. The schools educate 1650 pupils at the Stamford Junior School for children aged 2-11, Stamford School for students aged 11-16, and Stamford Sixth Form for students aged 16-18.

It is a big change, but a once in a generation opportunity to really set up the School for the next hundred years.
