Light Hall School is a co-educational comprehensive of 1200 students aged 11-16, located to the west of Solihull Town centre in the district of Shirley. The school draws students from Solihull and Birmingham, and has an intake that has a broad mix of both attainment and socioeconomic backgrounds.

We have a team of dedicated and hardworking teachers and an experienced leadership team, to support you.

As a teacher of mathematics, you will be joining an experienced group of qualified and highly successful mathematics practitioners, who very much work as a team. Mathematics is enjoyed by students across all year groups of the school. All students are entered for either the Foundation or Higher tier exam. All attainment indicators at GCSE are above the national average. Challenging pupils is a strength of the faculty with 21% of pupils achieving grades 7-9 in 2018.
