Northern Education Trust Freebrough Academy are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational qualified Teacher of MFL. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and ambitious practitioner to continue the upward trend in improving outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

• Set High Expectations Which Inspire, Motivate and Challenge Pupils

• Promote Good Progress and Outcomes by Pupils

• Demonstrate Good Subject and Curriculum Knowledge

• Plan and Teach Well-Structured Lessons

• Adapt Teaching to Respond to the Strengths and Needs of all Pupils

• Make Accurate and Productive use of Assessment

• Manage Behaviour Effectively to Ensure a Good and Safe Learning Environment

• Fulfil Wider Professional Responsibilities

I am delighted and proud to be leading Freebrough Academy. Our aim is to ensure that every child in our school feels safe, valued and respected.

Our Academy has had a long tradition of working in partnership with parents to ensure our pupils have the skills, dispositions and values they will need to lead happy and fulfilling lives. We all know that examination results are important, however, here at Freebrough we also place a high priority on instilling in our pupils dispositions such as resilience, independence and pride in themselves and in everything they do. We seek to develop the whole person forming within them a strong moral compass and good character.

In the short time I have been with Freebrough I have been hugely impressed by how hard working and committed the staff are here. There is a steely determination to do the very best for our students, whether that be in a teaching or supporting role, and a willingness to do what is needed to ensure we are all the best we can possibly be.
