Job details:
We wish to appoint a creative and reflective teacher to teach Edexcel IGCSE Chemistry for one term to cover a period of maternity leave.
The Sciences department is a diverse and friendly environment, with a strong focus on pedagogy and research-led practice. The Chemistry department is extremely supportive and there is a strong emphasis on collaboration.
The school offers a wealth of opportunities to develop your teaching career and offers an enriching environment to teachers of all levels of experience. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate effective teaching skills within the classroom and possess a good degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.

Bedales School is an independent, co-educational, selective, day and boarding school for children aged 3-18. It is situated in Petersfield in Hampshire and there are 460 pupils on its roll. There are admission fees and scholarships and bursaries are available.
Bedales is a charitable trust and was founded in 1893 by J H Badley as a humane alternative to the authoritarian regimes of the late-Victorian public schools. Its founding ethos was, and still is, “Head, Hand and Heart.”
