TEACHING & LEARNING ASSISTANT APPRENTICESHIP Level 3 - A GRADE   Fixed Term Contract

We are looking to appoint an A Grade innovative temporary Teaching & Learning Assistant Apprentice to join our team of dedicated and committed professionals.  You will need to have an interest in working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area. 

Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.

The hours of work are 27.5 hours per week, 46 weeks per year pro rata contracts. This equates to 5.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.25am to 2.50pm (term time only).

The salary scale for this post is Scale 1/2 Point 12 currently £17,173, full-time equivalent. The actual pro rata starting salary is £11,340.07 per annum. There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.

You will be supported in undertaking a Level 3 NVQ in becoming a Teaching Assistant, which will be undertaken over 4 terms.
