Job overview

Glebe School is an outstanding secondary special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs, including autistic spectrum disorders. We are looking for a teaching assistant to enhance our committed and supportive team, working largely in our Provision with a mix of age ranges and complex needs.

Our dedicated team of teaching assistants work 33.75 hours per week (including a paid lunch break).  The salary for this role is: NJC Scale 3, points 4-6 £24,408 - £25,212 FTE (actual starting salary £19,596).

Support Staff have a 39-week term time only contract with hours worked over 38 weeks to allow for a two- week autumn half term.
