We are looking for two enthusiastic and lively teaching assistants to work with pupils who have physical and communication difficulties.  The roles involve support in the classroom and a high level of physical work and personal care of pupils.  We would particularly welcome applicants with BSL experience or qualifications, although this is not an essential requirement.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given.  We have purpose designed buildings co-located with mainstream settings.

Candidates must have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent.  Successful short-listed candidates will be asked to provide proof of these qualifications at interview or be prepared to sit an equivalency test during their probationary period.  References will be requested during the shortlisting process, therefore it is imperative that candidates approach their referees in advance and provide up to date contact details.  We will not shortlist if we are unable to obtain references.  Please indicate which post you are interested in within your peronal statement on the application form.
