Job overview

Required as soon as possible, for 30 hours per week for general Teaching Assistant duties (level 2) in our school nursery for a fixed term contract until 31st August 2023


Do you want to be part of an outstanding team making a real difference for our children? We are looking for a teaching assistant to support our children be the best they can be. The role will involve some 1:1 and small group work, as well as whole class teaching and interventions to support learning and wellbeing. You will also be required to supervise lunch and playtimes on a rota. We would like to appoint an outstanding teaching assistant who:

  • Is passionate about children’s learning and has a good understanding of the curriculum;
  • Have excellent communication skill and the patience and resilience needed for this role
  • Is reliable, punctual and flexible;
  • Would further support the Christian ethos of the school;
  • Has knowledge of supporting children’s emotional needs
