Job overview

Our highly successful Construction department is looking for a multi-skilled construction Instructor/Technician to support the work of the construction team on a full-time/permanent basis. 

We would be expecting candidates to have a proficiency in at least one construction area.

You will be responsible for providing technical and maintenance support for our courses in Construction as well as supporting teachers and students in class with resources, technical knowledge and workshops. 

You will also be expected to carry out the maintenance of the workshops and equipment for the above areas as part of the role is to maintain stock inventory. 

Your help setting up department events, coordinating purchases, repair and maintenance of equipment and carrying out regular risk assessments of projects is vital.

You may be a well-informed and ambitious graduate or you may have significant technical support experience – we want someone who will be active, engaging and excited to share their passion for the industry with our staff and students.
