Year Four Teacher (Four days)

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  
   

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed part tIme classroom teacher for semester two 2018. The successful applicant will share a class with our eLearning and IT Coordinator who will be released for 4 days per week. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the education of our year four class through established organisational abilities, initiative and effective communication skills. Highly desirable criteria would include experience using data and evidenced based pedagogies. A clear understanding around curriculum implementation and the use of effective and expected practices at a classroom and school level is deemed necessary. Experience with one to one technology and mobile devices will also be advantageous. This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
