Job overview
The Service requires a proactive individual to help support students predominately in the 16-19 year age group. You will be part of the Student Enrichment and Pastoral Tutoring Service and work with existing team members to support students whilst on campus.
The successful applicant will possess previous experience of engaging young people, particularly with the ability to support young people to improve their behaviour and attend lessons. The Youth Worker will ensure that the campus is a safe place to study, support students to engage in extracurricular activities and be able to deliver personal and social development sessions when required along with other team members.
The post is 28 hours per week term time only. The successful applicant will need to be flexible as there may sometimes be a business need to work outside of the usual pattern.
