Mira 3 support for Comercio Justo. Aimed at year 9 and IGCSE. Can also be used for Ab initio Spanish. This is taken from a Fair trade site and adapted into simplified Spanish. It is the story of how Fair Trade transformed a town in Pakistan that makes 70% of the world's footballs.

Have students learn by doing! Very minimum prep needed from teachers, and guides students with rubrics for self-directed learning - with genuine motivation as at the end of the projects students throw a quinceañera in class! Spilt class into three groups: Restaurant Group: Create the menus, organize the food to bring for the party, and serve the food (all in Spanish!) Great way to create an authentic ordering and serving Spanish conversation Invitation Group: Create the invites for the party to hand out to students and adults, also the option for a second project addition of making games and decorations, Dance Group: Create a dance choreography to bachata for the quinceañera - includes a playlist of videos for your students to learn from. Table with infinitives and different columns for them to conjugate the I and We form of each infinitive (regular and high frequency irregular verbs (ser,estar, ir, salir, tener) into the different tenses (present, preterite, near future, conditional, imperfect, perfect, simple future and subjunctive). This Guided Practice Walks students through practicing Spanish cooking vocabulary used from this Quizlet. https://quizlet.com/246899237/cooking-vocabulary-flash-cards/ It goes from easy to more difficult. First students match vocabulary, then use a word bank to fill in an authentic patatas bravas recipe from Spain, then they write full sentences in spanish (translate) and then respond to a question to connect them to the vocabulary in Spanish. If they finish early there is a small drawing vocab activity and a way that students can rate themselves as an exit ticket with the vocab.
