The resource is interesting to work on the topic 'Descrimination and Prejudes' (IB, A-Level). The resource includes some basic information about slavery (dates, carts, Le Code noir de 1685 and so on). The students can read the main dates related to the History of Slavery, Le Code noir de 1685 (one of the main documents related to the topic), the process to abolish slavery. Then they can express their opinion using the images p.9-11 (each image has a legend that can help the learners). Finally, the students need to unswer the questions based on the texts read before. The resource heip the students to learn more about slavery, to develop their speaking skills and writing ones.

GCSE FRENCH SPEAKING INFORMATION FOR EDEXCEL: INTERNATIONAL AND GLOBAL DIMENSION

This is the FIFTH AND FINAL GCSE French booklet aimed at supporting students in the NEW speaking exam. It is mainly aimed at EDEXCEL however I have also included any examples of role-play, picture-based discussions and writing questions from AQA and EDUQAS that are available - unfortunately this is not a big topic in the SAMS! Included are: 1. General structures for role-plays, PBD and conversation 2. Examples of RPs, PBDs and conversation questions for the topic of INTERNATIONAL AND GLOBAL DIMENSION (EDEXCEL!) 3. Mark schemes for all exam boards - speaking, writing and translation The conversation questions are adapted from the Edexcel website resources. I will also upload the adapted version of the Edexcel conversation questions for the other topics too (these weren't available when I made the original booklets!) Please let me know if there's something missing/incorrect so I can correct it..... As always - hope this is useful to someone somewhere.....
