Learning Welsh The Fun Way! - Bundle

Learning Welsh The Fun Way! - Bundle

Are you learning Welsh? Are you looking for a fun way to learn Welsh? I have developed a way to learn different languages based on my experience as an ESL teacher. This pack has 57 different settings for students to talk about in Welsh. The worksheets themselves are in English and the students do need to translate the places and objects they see into Welsh. At the end of the session, the students can play a fun game of word bingo to show they have mastered that day's vocabulary. Try it, it is a lot of fun for everyone!

Welsh at home Booklets and Audio files for Parents - Year 2

This resource is designed to increase bilingualism in primary schools. The pocket-sized booklet is ideal for parents to improve the use of incidental Welsh at home, supported by the accompanying soundbites. The booklet outlines Welsh vocabulary, phrases and questions that are useful for parents to use at home and is aligned to the Cully Education Incidental Welsh classroom booklets for Year 2, also available in my shop. The soundbites could be made available for parents on the school website, embedded in QR codes or added as an audio file to a video and tweeted. Even better if the children record their own versions. BOOKLETS AND SOUNDBITES ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: Getting Up Bedtime Greetings After School Mealtimes Talking about Schoolwork The soundbites are available as Audio File m4a and wma. A sample of the soundbites is available to download at www.cullyeducation.co.uk/welsh-for-parents There are some small differences between the booklets for North Wales and the booklets for South Wales. Where there is a difference for the soundbites, they are labelled as SW and NW. To make the pocket-sized booklet, simply print the whole document back-to-back, cut the document in half (width-ways), place the bottom half at the back and fold into a booklet.

Body Parts Bingo / Bingo El Cuerpo / Bingo Les corps / Bingo rhanau'r corff / EAL Body parts

This fantastic resource can be used to reinforce the names of the body parts in any language of your choice. I personally have used the resource in the teaching of more than one language, to huge success. The resource includes 20 different bingo sheets which can be laminated to be reused. This is a fun way to reinforce vocabulary. This resource is also a great way to reinforce English language with students who are new to English in small groups or using native speakers as role models.

Rhanau'r Corff Dylunio Anghenfil - Body Parts Welsh Monster Description

A fun activity which would be great as a homework task (as there are vocabulary boxes to support) or as an independent task in a lesson. In this task the children are challenged to use the vocabulary for the body parts supplied to create a monster. A great way to consolidate the children's use of the vocabulary in a creative way. The activity is differentiated 3 ways. Also included is a short powerpoint introducing / refreshing key vocabulary.
