Mercia Academy

Mercia Academy in Derbyshire is situated in Newhall, Swadlincote and has approximately 600 students, aged 11-16, on roll. The Academy is currently part of the Lionheart Educational Trust.

In 2024, we moved into a fantastic new building, built to meet the needs of our community and offering modern facilities including science labs, drama studio, IT suites and a stand-alone sports hall.
