Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised administrator to monitor, record and manage the attendance of all students. A professional attitude, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is of the utmost importance in this role. This post is term-time plus 5 training days and 5 days to be worked during the school closure period. Hours are 37 per week, 8:15am – 4:15pm (3:45pm finish for one day between Mon and Thurs to be agreed).
Your duties will include ensuring that student attendance is recorded correctly throughout the day, working closely with the pastoral team, liaising with families and outside agencies and dealing with attendance enquiries. You will provide attendance reports and detailed analysis on a regular basis to the pastoral and senior leadership teams and you will also assist in the efficient running of the busy school office and student reception.

The ideal candidate
- Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths
- Experience of a school’s based administrative role
- Excellent MS Office and database skills
- An eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyse data
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and integrity
- Ability to prioritise tasks appropriately
- Confident and approachable manner
