Magdalen Court School Deputy Headteacher Opportunity

The Headteacher and Trustees of Magdalen Court School are looking to secure the Deputy Headteacher of Magdalen Court School. This is an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher to join a high achieving, aspirational school.

Trustees are interested to hear from SEN aware leaders who are currently working in good and outstanding schools and have an extensive and successful background in SEN/school improvement and change management.

Magdalen Court has an exciting management partnership with The Special Partnership Trust, the Trust provides professional support, advice, and guidance across all aspects of; leadership and governance, School Improvement, safeguarding, well-being and behaviour.

We can be flexible on start date and will consider applicants who can start September 2023 or earlier.


About Magdalen Court School

Magdalen Court School provides education for up to 80 pupils with special educational needs. The focus for the school is to support pupils with high levels of anxiety and specific learning difficulties including autism.

Magdalen Court School strives to create an environment where each pupil’s individual strengths, talents and aptitudes are nurtured and developed. It is an inclusive school which works to provide a first-class education that encourages pupils to think independently and to develop their full intellectual, creative and physical potential. About the role

The role would suit a SEN aware leader who is looking to extend and develop their experience of school leadership. The successful applicant should have a strong track record of leading a SEN/school improvement and share the vision and values of Magdalen Court School.

Candidates will need to be an articulate and strong communicator with proven strengths in engaging, inspiring and motivating staff at all levels, and working with local community.
