Job overview
Focus School Cambridge is seeking to appoint an outstanding English Teacher to teach up to Key Stage 5 from April 2018 or sooner. We are a small, successful Y3-13 mixed independent school with a strong Christian ethos located in the famous university city of Cambridge.
The school has undergone a rapid and sustained transformation in recent times and is a strong member of the OneSchool organisation (the largest body of independent schools in the world). We are at the cutting edge of technology and educational innovation and we place the success and happiness of our pupils, Self-Directed Learning and our unique and comprehensive CPD programme at the heart of all we do.
The school was judged to be “Good with Outstanding features” in its most recent School Inspection Service (SIS) report. The school benefits from excellent teaching and support staff, well-behaved and engaged students and small class sizes.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding English teacher on a permanent basis from April 2018 or sooner. The successful candidate will be an inspiring educator with an overt passion for their chosen subject and profession. You will have the ability to inspire pupils, engage with parents and direct other adults within your classroom. We welcome applications from candidates who are keen to join us on our journey to “Outstanding”.
