Littlegreen Academy is seeking to appoint high quality, compassionate and committed Family Support Worker to join our Littlegreen Academy, a SEMH school for boys aged 7 – 16 years, close to Clanfield, Horndean and Rowlands Castle.

Littlegreen became a member of Solent Academies Trust on 1st January 2019. We are an outstanding trust and learning community that includes Mary Rose Academy, Cliffdale Primary Academy and Redwood Park Academy. Our Trust has a successful track record of developing and supporting staff to make sure they gain the skills and experience necessary to enable our pupils to achieve great things.

The role of the Family Support Worker will work closely alongside all members of our school community. This includes families, carers and professionals from a range of agencies who, together, ensure that our pupils receive all the support they need to access school, home and the wider community successfully.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently with families and be willing to undertake Designated Safeguarding Lead training.

The hours for this role are Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm and Friday 8am – 3.30pm. You will work for 39 weeks of the year; however, you will be paid for 48.4 weeks. Your salary will be paid over 12 months of the year.

Littlegreen Academy is a special school for 81 boys aged 7-16 years who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Many children also have a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Attachment Disorders, Anxiety and Speech and Language delay.
