Head of Classics

We are looking for a committed, passionate and enthusiastic teacher to lead the Classics department at The Elms School from September 2022.

The post entails working with children from Year 4 to Year 8 following the ISEB Common Entrance syllabus along with preparing children for their scholarship examinations. The Elms has a very strong tradition of high achievement in both Latin and Greek. Although experience of the CE and Scholarship syllabi is preferable, above all we are looking for enthusiasm, flexibility and commitment.  

A willingness to take part in extra-curricular activities would also be welcomed. The successful candidate will be committed to the boarding ethos of this highly successful independent preparatory school.
