Head of Sixth Form

At St Swithun's, we have been putting girls first since 1884 when we opened as one of the most progressive of girls’ schools. It is our intention to continue to be at the forefront of educational thinking and to that end we seek to appoint a thoughtful, compassionate and energetic individual to take over as head of sixth form.
This is a superb opportunity to shape the future of the sixth form at St Swithun's as we further embed High Performance Learning and prepare our pupils to make a success of their lives beyond the school gates.
St Swithun’s is a popular and successful selective girls’ school committed to developing innovative teaching and learning; open communication with parents and being a tolerant, kind and supportive community in which every pupil feels able to try new challenges without fear of failure.
For an informal discussion regarding the role with a member of the senior management team please contact Mrs. Rachel Nicholls, PA to headmistress, recruitment@stswithuns.com or 01962 835701.
Further details of the post and an application form are available via www.stswithuns.com/about-us/staff-vacancies
