Marshland High School is a good, 11 – 16 school located in West Walton, Norfolk. Having joined West Norfolk Academies Trust (WNAT) in November 2015, the school is at an exciting point in its journey and poised to achieve further success as part of a growing and effective academy trust.
Having been in the top 20% nationally for progress in 2016, with expectations for the 2017 data being equally positive, as well as securing its best ever GCSE results, Marshland High School has achieved much in the recent years. As such, we are now looking to build further upon this success, with a motivated, passionate and inspirational leader joining our team.
Marshland High School’s new Headteacher will be an exceptional leader, with the ability to work collaboratively with both the Trust’s executive team as well as other Headteachers across the MAT, sharing best practice to collectively improve our Trust across the board. Furthermore, you will have a sound understanding and knowledge of the new progress measures, with the ability to implement strategies to ensure all of the students attending Marshland High School achieve, regardless of their background.
The role of Headteacher at Marshland High School offers a unique and career defining opportunity for either a current or aspiring whole school leader.
