About the role:

As an Occupational Therapist at Olsen House School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will provide a high quality standard of occupational therapy assessment, management, treatment and advice for a caseload of children aged 7 to 16 with a wide range of emotional, social and mental health needs, plan, deliver and evaluate therapy treatment programmes as agreed in the child’s EHCP, work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team and multi-agency teams involved with children and their families, contributing to team meetings, consultations, joint assessments, reviews and staff training.

About you:

For this role, we are looking for someone who has a Dip COT, BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy together with HCPC and BAOT registration and previous experience of working in a special school setting or in a CAMHS service. The focus of this position will be on assessment, diagnosis and implementing strategy to improve outcomes of our children and young people.

Olsen House School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Great Crosby, Liverpool, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 16. Our school provides a safe learning environment for pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) with associated needs including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism (ASC) and moderate and specific learning difficulties (LD).
