As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Apprenticeships department and Onboarding Team as an Administrator on a permanent basis, reporting into the Head of the Department.


You will be the ‘go to’ member of the team for new and existing learners via Telephone or Email. You’ll be also guiding them through their choices to see which course is best suited to their needs along with assisting them with their CVs, getting them prepped to be sent to an employer. You’ll also be following administrative processes to get new and existing learners’ compliant on the system along with setting them up on a bespoke system and excel spreadsheets. Finally you’ll be required to assist in staffing careers fairs, open days and evening events on occasion.


To be successful, you will have strong IT skills and knowledge of working Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel. You will be a highly organised individual who is good at record keeping and prioritising your workload. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about education for both young people and adults and can work well independently but also flourish as part of our Onboarding Team.


This role is fast pace and requires someone to be able to flexible to the needs of the College

 It has two state of the art campuses in West Bromwich accessible through excellent transport links and, following a successful merger with Cadbury Sixth Form College, has an exciting presence in Birmingham.
