Band 2 Point 11-14 (£17,007 - £17,681)

9 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Actual Salary £3,419.60 - £3,555.12

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Technician to work on Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings. You will be joining a fully-staffed, innovative and constantly improving science department which has secured huge rises in student achievement over the past few years.

You will prepare materials for classes, set up practicals and support lessons. It is expected that successful applicants will be proactive, self-directing and able to work under their own initiative, as well as having sound ICT skills. You will be required to achieve complete familiarity with the Science Department’s health and safety procedures and will be responsible for keeping up to date with any changes to these procedures. 

As a school that values staff and their development, there will also be an opportunity to be involved in the varied extra-curricular activities that we provide for students, such as our many STEM initiatives and Science experiences.
