Clay Hill school provides education and support for pupils between 5-19 who have special educational needs including ASC, learning difficulties  and who may present with behaviours that challenge.

Clay Hill School is seeking to recruit an outstanding Therapeutic practitioner who will deliver a range of therapies to our young people and also take the lead in liaising with our therapeutic services. The role would include leading our existing Pastoral staff.

Are you:

  • A passionate and innovative practitioner who can quickly and effectively engage their students?
  • Hold a therapeutic qualification and experience in delivering high quality therapeutic provision?
  • Able to have a vision to improve the department you work in and bring others on board?
  • An enthusiastic and well-organised team player?
  • Aware of, through experience of working with children in schools, how Emotional, Social and mental health difficulties may impact on learning and the strategies that can be deployed to support the pupils in and outside of the classroom?

Clay Hill School is an independent, specialist day school for young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Attachment Disorder and associated complex needs. We provide education for up to 42 young people aged 5 to 19 years

We provide a warm and welcoming, yet structured environment, which encourages children and young people to develop the social, educational and practical skills they require to enjoy and achieve.
