Our extensive and inclusive seven-year curriculum is housed in state of the art facilities including a separate, purpose built Post 16 Centre, a tiered theatre, a swimming pool, drama and dance studios, catering kitchen, construction centre, hair and beauty studios and a 400 metre fully equipped athletics track.

Ashfield School has earned a succession of very strong ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding features’ Ofsted judgements and we continue to go from strength the strength in terms of our reputation and student numbers. The reputation of the school, our extensive facilities, curriculum, and the healthy and supportive working environment makes Ashfield School a great place to work.

To continually improve we seek to recruit the most enthusiastic and talented employees at every opportunity. We look for people who are committed to improving the life choices of Ashfield students and who can fit the friendly, hard-working and ambitious profile of colleagues already here. Of course, every new employee brings something different to add to the rich pool of talent at the school.

All employees at Ashfield are fully supported to develop professionally. Our in-house professional development programme is a particular strength. Every employee is encouraged to tap into the array of professional learning opportunities on offer. We are as ambitious for our employees as we are for our students.

Whilst our website gives you a flavour of the outstanding facilities on offer, a visit to the school is recommended for prospective applicants to appreciate its unique qualities and vibrant atmosphere.

As Ofsted reported in November 2021, students and staff share ‘very high expectations’ of each other, behaviour is ‘very good’ and the vision for the school is ‘shared by everyone’, including our very supportive parent body; ‘To support and challenge all learners to fulfil their potential.’

I look forward to presenting our wonderful school to prospective applicants who would like to be part of building a successful future for our friendly and fantastic students.
