Primary Phase Classroom Teacher (Y2)

Fixed-term contract from May 2023 to cover a maternity leave.

The Primary Phase of William Hulme’s Grammar School (WHGS) is one of the most over-subscribed primary schools in Manchester. We have an excellent reputation and high aspirations for all of our children, who enjoy a broad and balanced diverse curriculum and are equipped with the skills that will help them to become responsible members of the local and global community.

This is an exciting time to join the school as we continue our journey of moving to exceptional. We are looking for an outstanding, hardworking and inspirational teacher to join our dedicated team of staff from May 2023, to promote excellence in teaching and learning. The current Year 2 teacher will complete SATs with the children before handing over to you. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they:

·        Can provide engaging learning experiences that inspire and support children to become lifelong, independent learners

·        Have excellent interpersonal skills and the commitment to work as part of a team

·        Be able to work with parents and carers in providing excellent support.
