Job overview

We are a small friendly charity run independent special secondary school with a sixth form.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Psychology KS3/4 and BTEC Health and Social Care/Child Development teacher. The ability to deliver other BTEC qualifications and/or GCSE qualifications is a plus.

CRLT is a trust that specialises with students who have predominantly have ASA, anxiety and depression. We are a small, friendly team who work closely together to help our students achieve the best academic outcomes possible and support them as they grow and develop.

The right candidate for this role will have experience in teaching GCSE, A Level and BTEC courses and be able to differentiate work for small groups of students in a special school setting. They will be experienced in planning high quality teaching that engages their students with initiative resources and experience of working with children with SEND is desirable. It will be imperative that they are able to work as a part of a team and be able to direct the support staff working with them.
