Cabot Primary School is a thriving and diverse school in the heart of the St Paul’s community. We have recently joined Excalibur Academies Trust.

We wish to appoint a pro-active and efficient Primary School Administrator to join our dynamic team and work in our busy school office 20 hours per week (Mon – Fri 8:30am - 12:30pm).

We are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.

The role will include: school administration (e.g. assisting the Principal, School Business Manager, staff and pupils as required, maintaining the pupil database) - office administration (e.g. answering the telephone, welcoming parents and visitors) - some financial administration (e.g. purchasing resources, managing cash transactions, banking).

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.

Previous administration experience.

A proven ability to work on their own initiative.

A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.

The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.

A can-do attitude.

A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.

HOURS CAN BE FLEXIBLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.

School visits are encouraged and prospective candidates should phone the school office to arrange this.
