TEACHER’S PROFESSIONAL SCALE
We are looking to appoint, with effect from September 2018 (or earlier if possible), an enthusiastic and able Spanish teacher to join our very successful languages department. The successful candidate will teach across the age and ability range.
We are looking for someone who -
- enjoys being part of a team and sharing ideas and materials
- wants to make lessons fun and engaging
- wants to participate in language trips and activities
- enjoys learning new skills
Please note, current or recent experience of teaching in a UK school is required. (This would include those currently undertaking teacher training).
The languages department is :
- a welcoming and supportive team, keen to develop and improve, both as individual practitioners and as a group
- fully equipped with resources and relevant technology, including interactive white boards
- successfully offering the full range of qualifications up to A Level Spanish and French
Moulton School is a successful, popular and over-subscribed school on the northern boundary of Northampton. Moulton has a talented and dedicated staff who show pride and commitment to their role. Our students benefit from their professionalism and their work in supporting students to achieve their best.
High quality teaching and high expectations are at the heart of Moulton School and all teachers will be expected to develop practice which supports the ethos, values and vision, and contributes to the overall life and work of the school.
Moulton School has strong staff development programme with a wealth of experienced staff working with teachers and support staff. To that end, we strive to create a learning environment that elicits outstanding outcomes for students.
Staff are committed to their own development, and many take part in helping others to progress. In order to support this, we run training and development sessions that take place after school.

Many staff take part in regular subject specific training, and staff I specialist roles may attend external training courses run by specialists in areas such as pastoral care, First Aid, mental health and wellbeing, MAGT and challenge.
